About Teaser Here

Our people have lived in Qinuyang for thousands of years, part of the Sugpiaq/Alutiiq homeland. The modern village formed around the Alaska Packers Association salmon cannery, established in 1890. Perseverance, strength, and community have shaped our Tribe for generations. Today, we continue to stand on these values — honoring our past while supporting future generations.
